I'v been an author since before I knew what that really meant. When I'm famous one day I have half a mind to publish the stuff I "wrote" as a kid. It's not bad when you consider they were dictated by a 4 year old really. I've been making up stories since I learned how to use words really. I'm pretty sure I was doing it before that too, but babies don't exactly make the best storytellers.
Growing up I was the weird kid with the book under their arm. Heck, in a lot of ways I still am that kid, but I think they would pretty much flip out at the stuff I listen to now.
So, you know that Hunter S. Thompson quote"When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro"?
It got weird. I turned pro.
Now I write urban fantasy for what I hope will turn out to be a living and occasionaly diverge into sci-fantasy shot stories. I love the stuff and I'd like to think I'm pretty good at it.
